While the farmer is tending the crop on behalf of others, consumers share the costs of supporting the farm and share the risk of variable harvests (also share the over-abundance of particularly fruitful seasons).</p>

<p>Patrick’s  Berry Farm sells and uses only the best and freshest  ingredients in El  Dorado County! All the homemade pies and jams use the  best fruits and  only half the sugar as leading pies. Patrick’s motto  is <em>“elegance is simplicity”.</em> By this he means the pies and jams  are simply made using minimal  ingredients so that you are able to taste  the quality and purity of the  finest fruits around! The pies are made  with basic spices (cinnamon,  nutmeg and sugar) to compliment the fruit  and not overpower, and nothing  else added. When you taste these pies  you taste the pure quality of the  fruit! Additionally, when making his  homemade cider, only the best  ingredients go into making this fresh,  simple 100% pure juice.</p>
<p>All  of the vegetables are grown and cared for with the utmost care  and  quality to produce the most delicious, flavorful vegetables you  have  ever had! The tomato varieties are sweet and colorful, what child   wouldn’t love to eat these for a snack?! All the vegetables are free   from pesticide sprays and are all hand grown and picked to perfection.</p>
